I decided to pull my sewing machine out of hiding and blow off the dust. Lets see what happened.
I started with a basket of mending. Then I decided to hit the fabric store. This all started on June 23rd.
This is a quick and easy sundress using a NewLook pattern #0127/6096.
I found some cotton fabric on a clearance rack at Hancock Fabrics.
a few days later I whipped this one up.
I'm not the type of person who follows directions, or recipes. With that said I decided to use the same pattern and create pieces.
Here I made a top from that same pattern. I added the pink for color. The jury is still out on that decision. Well I needed a skirt! So off to the fabric store I went. Hancock fabrics had Butterick patterns on sale for $1.99. I found a skirt pattern that said it was "Fast and easy". I love those words!
Butterick #B4461 I love the different options displayed on the envelope front.
This was a fast and easy pattern! So I whipped up two skirts, the one pictured above. and another
There's more! This Maxi dress.
I love it! Again I made it with cotton. All these dresses are so comfortable in the heat here in Northern Cali! Its going to be 100 plus this weekend. Ugh!
Just this morning I finished the latest skirt. Only a little over a month after this all began! My favorite by far!!
I have some other projects quede up, like some tops and more skirts. Looks like I will be sewing in front of the air conditioner.
